Château Gandoy-Perrinat
Located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, on the sun-drenched hillsides of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne, Château Gandoy-Perrinat is a 101-hectare estate in a single block, making it a remarkable entity, with a 30-hectare island, Château Lansade. Acquired in 2020 by Famille ICARD, this estate has always belonged to families from Sauveterre.
The medieval bastide town of Sauveterre de Guyenne was founded in 1281 by Edward I Plantagenet, King of England and Duke of Aquitaine. It is the only one of the eight bastides built in Gironde to have retained its four fortified gates: the Saubotte gate, the La Font gate, the Saint-Léger gate and the Saint-Romain gate. We pay tribute to these doors through the four cuvées of Château Gandoy-Perrinat.
