High Environmental Value 3 certification

High Environmental Value (HVE) is the highest level of an environmental certification scheme for farms. It responds to the need to recognize farms committed to particularly environmentally-friendly approaches. Level 3 is based on performance indicators relating to biodiversity preservation, phytosanitary strategy, fertilization management and water resource management.

Environmental Management System for Bordeaux wines

Deployed since 2010, the EMS (Environmental Management System) is a voluntary approach to preserving the environment in the Bordeaux vineyards. It improves viticultural practices while taking into account business life, employee safety and societal expectations. Its aim is to accelerate the environmental transition and change the methods used. The EMS encourages the adoption of environmentally-friendly practices, the reduction of chemical products and the sustainable management of natural resources. It offers technical support, training and encourages the sharing of best practices.

Corporate Social Responsibility - Bordeaux Cultivons Demain

The “Bordeaux Cultivons Demain” initiative aims to strengthen and promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions within the Bordeaux wine industry. It focuses on areas such as preserving biodiversity, reducing carbon footprints and implementing measures to benefit employees, stakeholders, consumers and local residents. The aim is to structure existing initiatives, amplify their impact and promote the companies involved in the Bordeaux wine sector. It encourages companies to adopt sustainable practices and implement actions to preserve the environment and the well-being of those involved.
