Following a meeting in early 2018 with the LOUFRANI family, creators of the iconic SMILEY® in 1972, SMILEY® Wines was born.
The DNA of this range of single-varietal wines is happiness combined with unforgettable moments of sharing.
In 2000, Jean-Christophe ICARD, a winegrower in the Entre-deux-Mers region, met Philippe GELUCK, the famous Belgian cartoonist and creator of the legendary character Le Chat. From this meeting was born a friendshiṕ and a lasting collaboration around A la Gloire du Chat cuvées featuring Philippe GELUCK’s Cat through a range of Bordeaux wines from a Family of winegrowers, and the iconic Rosé Canicule® to be enjoyed on the rocks.
